A draft amendement has been published regarding siloxanes.
The presence of siloxanes was already subject to different regulations and scientific opinions. With theis new draft, it´s inclusion in a certain type of cosmetic products could be limited.

Amendment: Annex VI of the Cosmetic Product Regulation.
This amendment sets a new concentration limit to one of the existing UV filters used in cosmetic products, and sets a deadline for the industry to adapt.
